Using Calcomp Digitizers with StyleCAD and Lectra StyleCAD has the ability to use Calcomp Digitizers, but special attention may need to be paid to specific settings when also using Lectra software on the same system. The instructions below will help the user setup the Calcomp digitizer for use with StyleCAD with Lectra software on the same system. Lectra requires the digitizer driver to always be activated, and this causes the comm port to become locked, in essence not allowing any other program to use the digitizer or that same comm port. Open the Lectra configuration program and set the comm port to another comm port setting that is not being used (for example, if the software shows that comm port 1 is in use, change the comm port setting to comm port 5). Then turn off the digitizer and turn it back on again. Now setup StyleCAD to use the digitizer on an unused comm port channel, and the digitzer will work.
