StyleCAD 7.0 has over 100 new features added to V6.0
that was already very powerful. We will introduce some of the
highlights.
Section Bezier Blending Method.
Arc
Tools.
Dynamic arcs based on 2 points and tangent
line or 3 points may be drawn.
Dart/Pleat Tools.
Dart and Pleat shapes
accurately mirror the surrounding
curves.
Mirror Patterns.
If a mirror pattern is
unfolded in PDS, the mirror side is automatically/dynamically updated when
the pattern is modified.
Round Corner Tool Enhancements.
Round corner tool
may be used on corners formed by curves and even disjointed lines.
French Curves.
French Curves can be easily
picked up, dragged, rotated, flipped, and used to draw curves as if you
were using a real French Curves.
Puff tool.
Radial Grading Tool Enhancements.
Allows easy
grading for patterns that typical point grading method is not well suited
for.
Atuo-Grading Tool Enhancements.
V7 Auto-Grading
tool is truly intuitive and very easy to use. Grading data from
similar shapes may be transferred within
seconds.
Use of Image file for Patterns and
Makrers.
Folded/Tubular Marker.
Automarker Server.
The V7 Auto marker server comes
equipped with a limited manual marking capability. The basic slide
tool, buffering tool, fusible block tool and grouping tool are
available. Therefore, the user now has the flexibility of
manually placing pieces before submtting an automarking job.
Enhanced CAM support.
The V7 allows the user to
control the cutting sequence of internal lines. Automatic drill hole
generation feature can enhance vacuum hold for certain types of
material.
